  • Who goes first? Whoever draws the Queen card.

  • How many cards can I play each turn?Each turn you can play 3 soldiers to create an army as well as one general. Only 1 commander may be on the field at one time.

  • What happens if I forget to use my cards ability during my turn? Unfortunately, you will need to wait until your next turn.

  • How do I win?By destroying all of your opponent’s commanders on the field and in their hand.

  • How are attack powers calculated?The number at the top left of a card is their attack power. Items are added from left to right and in the order the cards are laid in. The magus boost, fog and the spell book calculations are added after all items.

  • What happens if I have no cards in my hand?On your next draw phase you will draw 5 cards, plus the commander ability draw.

  • How many items can I equip? 3 items for an army, 2 items for generals and 1 item for commanders.

  • Can I use items during my opponents turn?Item cards an be played at any time, during anyone’s turn. Be strategic with your timing!

  • What happens if attack powers are equal?It’s a tie, nothing happens. Unless you have the Black Knight card that breaks any ties with first strike.

  • What happens if a General or Ultimate attack fails?The attacking cards are automatically destroyed.

  • Can a commander attack? If it is the only card on your side of the field.

    Does Fog effect a card’s base Attack Power? No, the fog card subtracts from final calculations.

  • Is there a limit of poison fogs that can be put on a row? No

    Can Siegeborn be played with more than 2 people? Technically yes, 4 people can play if there are 2 decks. Teams of 2 can share a deck of cards.

    If my commander dies, do I lose?If your commander dies and you don’t have any more commander cards in your hand, you lose. If you have a commander, place it down and continue to play.

    What if I forget what a card does? All cards have a description of it’s ability. There are also smaller icons to make it easier to remember.
